Due to demand for appointments we have new team members on the way!
We have been blown away by the increasing demand for our services at Henfield Medical Centre. Due to increase wait times for NHS Physiotherapy and Osteopathic demand being so high for ‘hands on’ treatment; we have a new Physio and Osteopath joining us at Henfield Physiotherapy & Osteopathy Clinic in the next two months.
In the meantime; if your a Physio or Osteopath looking for work please email your CV to Debbie at reception@agilityhealthcare.co.uk
Thank you for your continued support
Nice little history lesson on Henfield
I think my wife must of watched this a few years ago!
The Guardian Health getting it spot on again! Exercise is ALWAYS good!
Exercise is ALWAYS good. However this doesnt mean you need to go to the gym, sign up for a 5K run or take on a Triathlon. Simplicity is the key! If you take the lift rather than the stairs in the car park…..take the stairs. If you catch the bus to the village…..take one stop early and walk the rest. Make small, sustainable changes to your routine and build from there. A little is better than nothing! Good luck! #changes #exercise #henfield #lifegoals
A good life is about Moderation. Exercise is no different!
We are seeing more and more people in our clinics declaring there injuries as if they are a ‘Badge of Honour’. Injury is no badge of honour and should be respected. It is your bodies ‘warning light’. Too much high intensity exercise on top of a stressful life with ultimately lead to injury as your bodies physiology will not be able to cope, and this will ultimately lead to injury. DON’T OVER DO IT…….MODERATION!
Physical Therapy over Surgery. It makes sense!
New Physiotherapist, Juliet D’enno joins us!
WOW,WOW,WOW! $88 Million Dollars per year on Neck and Back pain!!!!
The Institute of Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME) at the University of Washington measured spending in the USA according to condition. They found that $88 million per year was billed for Back Pain.
Often, Pain is the symptom not the cause. Looking at Pain in the context of the Biopsychosocial Model is crucial. We hugely under estimate our mental health in day to day life.
Why taking painkillers can sometimes make the pain worse!
